Well excogigirls has been in the land of flowing milk and honey lately and you can never have too much of a good thing. Wait these planets are in alignment and if you look towards the Eastern sky just above the horizon and just after sunset you will see what looks like a bright single star or galaxy. But what it actually is is Venus, Saturn and Neptune so close in the same line of site that it’s to bright to be just a normal looking star or galaxy. Nerd alert, I have included a screen grab picture in the photos section of this scene from my iPhone using my Night Sky app that shows the exact placement of the planets as they are orbiting our absolutely ginormous nuclear power plant of a sun. It shows Venus, Saturn and Neptune in the upper left portion of the picture and in the lower right portion has Mars and Mercury. The W and the white horizontal line in the middle of the picture is the actual horizon with the sun just starting to set below the horizon. It’s a pretty cool F’ing app to be able to identify celestial bodies in the night sky or daylight and shows you the observable universe anywhere you point your iPhone or smartphone. Even point it down at the earth and it will show you what the observable universe looks like on the other side the earth if you were looking up at the night sky. But if you’re wondering why Mercury is blacked out it’s because it’s currently in it’s orbit between us and the sun so it’s not reflecting any light from the sun back at us so you don’t actually see it in the night sky. But I digress and what’s really important is Iris everyone and how spectacularly perfect, and according to Megan, “almost fake looking, but we all know they’re not,” boobies are.
